The power of change

How CPR Hair Helps Salons Thrive

When I reflect on my journey as the Sydney and South Coast Business Development Manager for CPR Hair, one word comes to mind: transformation. The “I Made the Change” campaign is more than a slogan, it’s become a deeply personal and rewarding experience for me and the salons I’ve had the privilege to work with. Seeing salons embrace CPR and flourish has been one of the best parts of my role.

Every day, I meet salon owners and teams who are at a crossroads — seeking change but unsure where to begin. It usually starts with a simple message, either through CPR's social pages or directly to me. From there, we tailor personalised packages that align with their unique needs. This process is so much more than a transaction; it’s about building a partnership with a strong sense of support for the salon.

One thing I hear often during my visits is how refreshing it feels to have genuine, ongoing support. For many, their past experiences with other brands felt strong at the start but faded over time. At CPR, we’re committed to being there every step of the way. Whether it’s educational workshops, face-to-face visits, or tailored training for everyone from apprentices to salon owners, we provide a complete eco-system of resources that empower salons to thrive. I love being able to loop them into our world of support, from starting out with a Linktree of contacts and resources, to an online portal — The Education Hub — where we watch their confidence grow.

What makes this journey truly special are the stories our salon’s share. Like Katy, owner of Katy and Co, who recently shared their salons birthday post highlighting the incredible support her team has received since joining CPR. Or the salon owners who’ve introduced small but meaningful touches, like inspirational cards for clients, to elevate their customer experience and seeing how this has uplifted their experiences in salon.

Watching these changes unfold is like seeing the foundation of a strong building being laid — CPR clears roadblocks, nurtures growth, and provides the maintenance needed for long-term success.

Our “I Made the Change” campaign encapsulates this spirit. Change is more than switching products; it’s about building something bigger. CPR’s support feels holistic — it doesn’t just stop at education or marketing. It’s about empowering salons to see their potential and achieve it. Many salons share that they feel a renewed sense of purpose, their atmosphere transformed by a focus on community and connection. Clients are noticing too, with improved retention and an elevated service experience setting these salons apart.
