The Mane Event 2023

‍"Being a part of The Mane Event Hair Awards was such an amazing experience that allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and push myself creatively. It was so much fun bringing this look together with my model Laura. We spent one day prepping and colouring the hair and another in a studio collaborating with the creative team behind the shot including a photographer and make up artist.

I was inspired to create something that was both edgy yet effortless. Although I wanted to achieve something on trend, it was important to me to put my own unique twist on it. I am so happy with how the look turned out and look forward to more creative content days in the future. "

The curtain has closed on our first ever edition of The Mane Event, yet the excitement and inspiration it has ignited within our hairdressing industry will continue to shine brightly. The Circle proudly presents a wrap-up of the success of The Mane Event, and we are thrilled to share the remarkable achievements and highlights from the 2023 competition!

First and foremost, we were overwhelmed by the sheer number of high-quality entries we received from talented stylists and salons across Australia and New Zealand. The passion and creativity displayed in each submission were truly awe-inspiring, reaffirming the immense talent and creativity within our industry.

We’re celebrating the overwhelming response and incredible talent that graced our competition. The quality of entries received was nothing short of extraordinary, with each submission showcasing the ingenuity, artistry, and passion of hairstylists across the region. From daring transformations to breathtaking colour creations, the creativity on display left us in awe.

Now, as we crown this year's winner, CPR invites all aspiring hairstylists and salon owners to mark their calendars and start preparing for the next edition of The Mane Event. With anticipation building, we are excited to see the talent and innovation that will grace The Mane Event once again!
