Everything works out the way it's meant to...
Salon Owner Blonde Baby Tasmania
Elsie Kleine, the owner of Blonde Baby in Shearwater Village, Tasmania, has a lifelong connection to hairdressing, inspired by her mother. She trained at Pivot Point Academy in Melbourne, completed her apprenticeship near Phillip Island, and opened her first salon in 2014. After experiencing burnout, she decided to close the salon in 2020. However, after exploring various career paths, she found her way back to owning a salon.
In February 2024, Elsie saw some last-minute tickets open for The Salon Forum, which had been sold out for some time. She secured a ticket and got on a plane within a few days to attend the event. Despite knowing no one and coming alone, Elsie felt a sense of purpose in her journey. She felt a profound connection to the messages woven through Cass’s presentations.
The day held more than just insightful presentations by the key panel of speakers. Elsie was recognised for traveling the furthest to attend, won a one-on-one coaching call with Shakira Jade, and even found herself lucky enough to win a prize from a random draw. She felt it was as if the universe was affirming her every step.
One activity required attendees to write a letter to their future selves. With just a few minutes to spare, Elsie scribbled down her thoughts and handed it in without much consideration. After the Forum, she
left for a month-long retreat in Bali, a journey of growth and self-discovery, where she learned to be a yoga teacher.
Upon returning, Elsie found the forgotten letter. Reading it, she was moved to tears. "Everything works out the way it is meant to," she had written. "Trust yourself and go with your alignment." The words perfectly mirrored her current feelings as she prepared to open her new salon.
Throughout the year, from attending the Forum to signing the lease on her salon, Elsie encountered numerous affirmations that she was exactly where she needed to be. For someone who had often doubted herself over the years, these experiences were transformative. She learned to trust in her path and believe in her capabilities.
Elsie decided to try CPR Colour and retail, committed to sourcing the best options for her clients. Impressed by the offerings and the new packaging facelift, she incorporated CPR into her salon. Her clients loved the products, responding positively to their effectiveness and quality.
Elsie's journey in 2024 is a powerful reminder of the importance of alignment and self-belief. Starting with a last-minute ticket to The Salon Forum, she discovered that when you surrender to the signals life gives you, everything falls into place just as it is meant to.
