For 14 years, Luxe Hair Spa has been a cornerstone in the Newcastle suburbs, offering clients a tranquil, welcoming space to relax and rejuvenate. The salon’s team of five — three senior stylists, one apprentice, and a salon manager — bring warmth, creativity, and a passion for haircare to their community.
At Luxe, the passion for hair artistry is palpable. “We’re well known for our blondes,” says the Luxe team. “From a full head of foils to scalp lighteners, there’s nothing more exciting than creating a bright, creamy blonde!”
However, the salon’s commitment goes beyond stunning colour work. Luxe prioritises hair health above all else, ensuring every stylist uses the CPR Colour Advantage system, including Colour Secure and Vitalink, to protect and strengthen hair during treatments. They also educate clients on proper at-home care with tailored product recommendations.
The team’s creativity doesn’t stop at blondes. Luxe’s love for coppers and colour cocktails is equally celebrated. “The vibrancy of the coppers is incredible, and the range of colour cocktails lets us personalise tones to suit every client’s individuality. It’s so exciting to play with these every day!”
Luxe also offers tape extensions and shares a deep passion for bridal styling, providing bespoke services for special occasions.

The Luxe Hair Spa's journey reached a turning point with their decision to partner with CPR Hair, “Choosing Australian-owned was a big deciding factor for us,” says the team. “We made the change from our previous colour brand to CPR and couldn’t be happier. The results are incredible, the support has been unmatched and their values align with ours.”
This support extends through Luxe’s relationship with their Business Development Manager, Matt, whose expertise has enhanced the team’s knowledge of CPR’s colour and retail offerings.
The partnership also brought the opportunity to work with CPR’s business coach, Jade — a transformative experience that’s reshaped the salon’s operations and growth.
“Business coaching with Jade has been a game changer. It’s helped us build structure, implement policies and procedures, and motivate our staff to try new things, like entering the Mane Event and embracing in-salon incentives. It’s been amazing to see the positive impact on our team and business.”
Building for the Future
As Luxe Hair Spa looks ahead, the team’s vision is as vibrant as their work. “We’re excited to have all our staff enter the Mane Event this year — it’s such a great way to showcase creativity and grow confidence. Education is another big focus for us in 2025. We want to continue learning and elevating our skills.”
The salon also plans to expand its social media presence, grow its following, and build the team to accommodate future growth. “We strive to nurture emerging stylists, providing an environment where they feel supported and inspired.”
