Tell us a bit about your brand and how you came up with the aesthetic?
Chrish & Co. is a new boutique hair salon in Toowoomba, Queensland. Co-owned and run by brothers, we took the leap to open our own space in August 2022. Beachy blondes are big hit in our salon, which is funny because we are nowhere near the beach in Toowoomba. This definitely inspired us to design our space and brand to have a more coastal feel.
What makes a good brand in your eyes?
We believe a good salon brand mostly comes down to authenticity and showing your client who you really are. Life can be too serious sometimes, so we think its important to just have a bit of fun with marketing, which is working quite well for us so far.
How do your clients feel the minute they step into the salon?
As soon as you step into our salon, you feel apart of our little family. We have designed our space to have a minimal coastal feel, in the hope that you are immediately relaxed and ready to be pampered.
How do you build team culture within your salon?
As our team grows, open communication is extremely important to us for our team culture. We recognise and celebrate the wins and support each other in the hard times. As for us brothers, we were always told to play nice growing up. This is sometimes a little easier said than done, but ultimately, we have made a great business duo so far!
What is a hair trend you are looking forward to seeing in 2023?
We are definitely looking forward to seeing more lived-in brondes in 2023! No that is not a spelling mistake.. we are big fans of a brunette-blonde! We have noticed some of our clientele going a bit deeper with their blonde which is so exciting to see.

Why did you choose CPR for your salon?
Chrish previously worked at a CPR salon and fell in love with using Fast Lift 9. This is by far the best-performing powder lightener on the market in our opinion, which made us want to become a CPR salon at Chrish and Co.
